I know you have been a very patient parent.
You have been generous with your time, maybe even somewhat enjoying having to spend the time lying next to her to get her to fall asleep. It wasn’t a chore, it was love.
You were sure she would eventually grow out of either needing you to fall asleep, taking forever to fall asleep or waking up frequently at night.
But *sigh* that just doesn’t seem to be happening.
In hindsight, maybe you wish you’d done something sooner, or maybe you did try something but she cried so hard, it just didn’t feel right to you, and so you stopped.
Toddlers and preschoolers can be terrifying because they are changing into these little people with big lungs and big opinions and it is often easier to keep doing what you are doing than to try and change something.
And then, if you were to make a change, how would you know if you were doing the right thing, and if the time and effort would be worth it? Would it all just be for nothing?
As parents, we feel like we “should” know what to do and that we shouldn’t have to seek help. However, let’s not forget that we all took prenatal birthing courses to educate ourselves about the birthing process, which cost us time and money, for an event that lasted 1-2 days at the very most.
Sleep issues go on for weeks or months, may even years, and yet we feel reluctant to spend money to become educated about those issues and fix a problem.
You deserve more.
You thought these
bad sleep habits
I never thought this would be possible!
“My 2 ½ year old daughter’s sleep issues were progressively getting worse, which was very concerning to me since I was due with my second child. I had to lie with my toddler while she fell asleep which sometimes took hours. Sarah helped me achieve my sleep goals for my daughter in a 2 week period…something I never thought would be possible! Overall, this has improved the quality of life in both my daughter and myself. She is no longer cranky and I have so much more free time since I am no longer spending hours of my day trying to put her to sleep!”

Our toddler needed to be rocked
and held to bed
“For months, we were struggling big time at bedtime and with multiple night wakings. Our 2.5 year old needed to be rocked and sung to for up to an hour before she would fall asleep and she was waking several times all night long. After working with Sarah we are happy to report that our daughter now puts herself to sleep quickly and sleeps through the night. We are so much happier, and now have more energy to spend playing with our daughter through the day. Thanks Sarah!! :)”
